Team5pm forms data-driven content group with acquisition
Team5pm, a data-driven video agency, has secured the acquisition of social media marketing company, Lijm Amsterdam.
This is a transformative development that signifies the creation of a pioneering data-driven content group, with expertise spanning platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. This fusion of talent and expertise equips the newly formed group to meet the rising demands of the Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) of tomorrow.
The exponential growth in branded video content on social media, up by 29% last year, highlights a growing need for data-informed content strategies. To capitalise on this demand and to assure marketing professionals of measurable results and ROI, the amalgamated group plans to expand further with more specialised acquisitions in the near future.
Speaking on the acquisition, Jelmer Wind, CEO of team5pm, shared, "We've built a wonderful team of talented people and a list of very nice clients over the past few years. Our 'golden formula' is our way of turning data into effective video content. We aim to provide our clients with the insights necessary to convey their message concisely and effectively across all platforms. We are further advancing this approach by forming a content group."
Emphasising the role of data in social media marketing, Lars Reimink, co-founder and Managing Director at Lijm Amsterdam, commented, "This move puts us in a unique position in the market and makes us the go-to partner for the CMO of the future. By utilising data, we eliminate guesswork from social marketing and generate creative content that guarantees results. We are extremely excited to move forward into this new chapter alongside team5pm."
The newly formed content group, with team5pm at its core working on YouTube videos, is looking to diversify its expertise by venturing into new areas of specialisation in the coming year. All brands under this group will be led by the 4F formula – Find, Film, Fuel & Fact-Check, which leverages in-house developed tools to map out the target group and their preferences, and convert this into content that aligns with both the consumer's critical viewing behaviour and client's brief.
Jelmer Wind concluded by saying, "The need for content is growing as fast as the need for certainty to achieve the desired results for brands. This requires a different perspective. With the formation of the group, we can offer even more specialisms and handle the growing demand from clients with a larger team, while maintaining the attention we want to give."
The unique combination of team5pm's expertise in YouTube and data-driven video content coupled with Lijm Amsterdam's creative approach to social media content creation presents a promising future for the CMO of tomorrow.
