Vidyard boosts AI Avatars for efficient personalised sales videos

Vidyard has introduced significant enhancements to its hyper-realistic AI Avatars, making the creation and delivery of customised sales videos more efficient for large-scale usage.

The innovations include bulk personalisation, streamlined integration with sales platforms, improved accuracy of facial features, faster avatar creation, and a new API for development teams.

Vidyard's AI Avatars, now featured in the company's Vidyard Messages platform, allow sales and marketing teams to produce videos that closely mimic the salesperson's voice and appearance. This capability aims to reduce the time spent on video creation and ensure consistent and accurate messaging across various communications platforms. According to Vidyard, these advancements are particularly useful for globally distributed teams.

The enhancements include bulk personalisation features that allow users to customise scripts for large recipient lists using keyword replacement or data enriched by customer intelligence platforms such as Clearbit. Integration with leading sales engagement platforms like Salesloft and Apollo is designed to help sales teams avoid disruptions by eliminating the need to switch between different tools.

Improved facial feature accuracy aims to create more natural and lifelike conversations, enhancing the recipient's experience to feel as though they are interacting with a real person. This enhanced realism is coupled with faster avatar creation, requiring only 90 seconds of footage to train an avatar, with the final product ready in as little as three hours. Additionally, the introduction of the Vidyard AI Avatars API allows sophisticated sales and development teams to integrate AI Avatars into their workflows seamlessly, thus boosting productivity.

The use of Vidyard's AI Avatars offers a range of benefits, as reported by its users. Sales teams utilising video messages have noted up to an 85% reduction in the effort required to connect with prospects, a fivefold increase in booked meetings, and substantial improvements in close rates. The AI Avatars are designed to address common challenges in video messaging, such as stage fright, uncertainty about scripting, and the logistics of recording videos.
