Lexar to unveil Argentina-themed storage at India expo

Wed, 18th Mar 2026

Lexar plans to showcase a range of storage products at the 33rd Convergence India Expo 2026 in New Delhi, with a stand themed around its partnership with the Argentina National Football Team.

It will exhibit from 23 to 25 March at Bharat Mandapam. The display will cover products aimed at gaming, IT infrastructure, surveillance, artificial intelligence, media production, and professional photography.

Alongside product demonstrations, Lexar will highlight its recent global partnership with the Argentina National Football Team (AFA). The stand will feature Lexar-AFA branding.

Partnership focus

The partnership links Lexar's storage brand with one of football's most recognised national teams. Lexar said the collaboration draws on Argentina's football legacy and the company's three decades in storage products.

Rajeev Anand, Sales Director - India, Lexar, said: "Lexar and AFA share a commitment to leadership, professionalism, and global excellence. Lexar's thirty-year track record in high-reliability storage makes us an ideal partner to support the creators, professionals, and fans who document and celebrate our sport worldwide.

"While Argentina continues to lead global football with three World Cup championships, Lexar is advancing the future of storage with next-generation solutions designed for professional content workflows, immersive gaming, and the evolving needs of fans who capture and preserve their personal football memories."

Lexar said the partnership is intended to reach creators and fans who record and store sports content. It also described the Argentina National Football Team as a long-standing influence on football culture.

AFA editions

Lexar expects to release co-branded editions of two portable SSDs in the first half of 2026: the Lexar Air Portable SSD and the Lexar SL500 Portable SSD.

Lexar positioned the AFA editions for fans who want to store and carry photos and videos, including match-day content and personal archives.

Product highlights

Beyond the co-branded models, Lexar will present products across professional imaging, SSDs, DRAM, and portable storage. The line-up spans consumer and professional markets, including content creation and gaming.

One featured product is the Lexar Professional DIAMOND CFexpress 4.0 Type B Card, which the company said is designed for sustained performance in real-time sports imaging and high-resolution capture workflows.

The line-up also includes the Lexar PLAY X PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, aimed at gaming PCs, consoles, and portable gaming devices for faster loading and more responsive play.

Another product on show is the Lexar Professional Go Portable SSD with Hub. Lexar said it supports Apple ProRes 4K recording and offers cable-free portable storage for photo and video capture.

Market context

Convergence India Expo is a long-running technology and industry event that draws vendors, partners, and business buyers. For storage suppliers, the show provides an opportunity to pitch products across a broad range of workloads, from consumer devices to professional media and data-heavy enterprise environments.

Lexar's messaging reflects that spread, linking its portfolio to areas such as surveillance and AI alongside gaming and professional photography. These segments increasingly overlap in their need for higher-capacity storage and faster transfer rates across devices.

Lexar also cited earlier product milestones as part of its broader narrative on design and performance, including what it called the world's first all-metal SD card and the industry's first 1TB microSD Express card.

At Convergence India Expo 2026, visitors will be able to view Lexar's latest storage products and the Lexar-AFA themed stand, along with details of the planned co-branded SSD releases in the first half of 2026.
