Netcore names Tariq Ahmad as Chief Revenue Officer

Netcore has appointed Tariq Ahmad as chief revenue officer, international, to lead sales and customer success across its overseas markets.
The appointment comes as Netcore aims to double international revenue within three years following its rebrand to Netcore.ai.
Ahmad joins the marketing technology company with more than 20 years of sales leadership experience at IBM, LinkedIn, BrowserStack and Sprinto. He has built and scaled global sales organisations and worked across business-to-business software and technology markets.
He will be responsible for international revenue growth, overseeing sales and customer success outside Netcore's home market. Ahmad has also helped scale revenue operations to as much as USD $250 million in annual recurring revenue.
The move signals a sharper focus on expansion beyond India as competition intensifies among software groups selling customer engagement and marketing automation tools. Netcore has been repositioning itself around what it calls agentic marketing, a model in which software is designed to make more decisions and take more actions across the customer journey.
Expansion push
Recent international customer activity includes Yamaha, Baskin-Robbins Malaysia, CelcomDigi and BHG Singapore. Netcore said momentum in overseas markets, together with its existing customer base, underpins its growth target.
The business says it serves more than 6,500 brands globally across eCommerce, retail, banking and financial services, media and entertainment, and travel. Customers it names include Crocs, Domino's, Puma, Adidas and Standard Chartered.
Ahmad most recently led global sales at BrowserStack and Sprinto. He also completed a PhD in Management focused on revenue operations at ESCP Business School, according to Netcore.
Alongside his operating roles, he has mentored sales leaders and advised early-stage and growth-stage companies on international go-to-market strategy. He has also advised multinational companies on expansion across India and South Asia.
Chief executive officer Kalpit Jain set out the company's goals for the appointment.
"Tariq has spent his career building revenue engines that scale across markets, not just within one. Our goal is to double our international revenue within the next three years, and having someone with his track record and execution discipline lead that charge gives us the right foundation to grow responsibly at this stage. We're thrilled to have him on board," said Kalpit Jain, chief executive officer of Netcore.
The appointment also reflects a broader shift in the software sector as vendors try to tie their products more closely to measurable business outcomes for clients. Marketing technology companies have been under pressure to show clearer returns on spending as brands scrutinise technology budgets more closely.
Netcore argues this is changing how such products are sold and delivered. Ahmad described the company's approach as a departure from a software model in which customers bear responsibility for commercial outcomes after deployment.
"Marketing technology has traditionally been sold as software, with vendors accountable for deployment and customers left to own the business outcome. That model is increasingly broken. Marketers need a partner that can act on the data, make decisions, execute, learn, and ultimately be accountable for the KPIs that matter. That's what makes agentic marketing fundamentally different. At Netcore.ai, we co-own business outcomes with our customers, and that changes both how the technology is built and how it goes to market. I'm excited to take that model to more global markets and help accelerate the momentum Netcore is already seeing internationally," said Ahmad.
