Vudoo appoints Drew Perry as Managing Director for APAC

Vudoo has appointed Drew Perry as Managing Director for Asia Pacific, signalling a new phase of growth in the region for the advertising commerce technology company.

With nearly two decades of experience in the ad tech sector, Perry has held significant leadership roles at Comcast-owned FreeWheel and AOL, and is also a founder of the business automation firm Autonic. In his new role at Vudoo, he will spearhead strategies tailored for the Asia Pacific market to reinforce the company's presence and drive its growth trajectory.

Perry's role will also involve strengthening Vudoo's relationships with agency networks and leveraging his deep understanding of market dynamics to build strong ties with brands, retailers, and agencies at both regional and local levels. Additionally, he will focus on crafting strategies that drive adoption and form key partnerships amid the evolving digital commerce media landscape.

Perry commented on his decision to join Vudoo, emphasising the company's unique capabilities. The ability to connect brands and audiences with seamless purchasing at the point of inspiration is incredibly exciting. The announcement of Perry's appointment comes on the heels of another strategic hire, Raj Chauhan, as President of the Americas, and follows a global partnership with IPG Mediabrands' KINESSO Commerce. This partnership aims to provide an ongoing capability for commerce media, allowing content to remain shoppable on the open web.

Vudoo has established partnerships with a number of prominent publishers, including News Corp, Scroll Media, Are Media, and New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME). Among its clientele are major brands and institutions such as Forever New, S&P Global, Kohler, Hilton, Samsung, Moët & Chandon, Burberry, Dyson, Lexus, Hotel Clicquot, and Sunday Riley.
