5Tattva has concluded its participation in the CIO 500 event series in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi, using the events to engage enterprise technology leaders on cybersecurity and cyber resilience.

The meetings were part of a wider 10-city series that brought together IT decision-makers from across India to discuss digital transformation, innovation and the evolving enterprise technology landscape.

5Tattva's involvement began at the Bengaluru chapter, where technology executives discussed artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital transformation. One session featured a panel on "Delivering Measurable Business Value from AI & Digital Investments", moderated by Atul Luthra, Co-Founder & Principal Consultant, 5Tattva.

The Mumbai and Delhi chapters continued those conversations, focusing on the need for stronger security preparedness as organisations pursue digital and AI-led programmes. Discussions covered vulnerability identification, cyber risk management and the role of resilient security frameworks in supporting business change.

Security focus

Across the three cities, a central theme was the pressure on companies to move from reactive cyber defence to earlier detection of weaknesses and more regular resilience testing. The exchanges also gave 5Tattva an opportunity to gather feedback on the priorities and challenges facing Chief Information Officers and other senior technology leaders.

That feedback comes as many large organisations face a more complex risk landscape, shaped by broader cloud adoption, greater reliance on digital platforms and the introduction of artificial intelligence into business operations. In that environment, cyber resilience has become a board-level issue as companies weigh expansion and automation against operational and regulatory risk.

Luthra said the conversations reflected that shift in priorities.

"As organizations continue to accelerate digital transformation, cyber risks are becoming more complex and interconnected. Security today is no longer just about defending infrastructure-it is about continuously validating resilience, identifying vulnerabilities before attackers do, and enabling businesses to innovate with confidence," said Atul Luthra, Co-Founder & Principal Consultant, 5Tattva.

5Tattva also highlighted growing enterprise interest in combining compliance requirements with ongoing security assessment and threat intelligence rather than treating those functions separately.

Manpreet Singh, Co-Founder & Principal Consultant, 5Tattva, said organisations were seeking a more forward-looking approach.

"Enterprises are increasingly looking for a proactive security approach that combines continuous assessment, threat intelligence and compliance with real-world attack simulations. Building cyber resilience requires organizations to stay ahead of evolving threats rather than reacting to them after an incident occurs. The CIO 500 event series provided a valuable platform to engage directly with technology leaders and exchange perspectives on these evolving security priorities," said Manpreet Singh, Co-Founder & Principal Consultant, 5Tattva.

Broader market

5Tattva's comments reflect a wider trend in the enterprise security market, where boards and executive teams are asking whether cyber spending is delivering measurable reductions in risk. That question has become more pressing as businesses invest in digital modernisation while facing more frequent attacks, tighter compliance demands and greater scrutiny over data handling.

For security advisers and service providers, industry gatherings such as the CIO 500 series offer insight into the current concerns of technology buyers, including how to balance innovation with governance and how to assess exposure across cloud, mobile and on-premises systems. They also provide a venue to test whether security strategies are keeping pace with operational change.

In Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi, 5Tattva's discussions centred on secure digital transformation and the practical steps organisations are taking to strengthen resilience. Those conversations underlined the extent to which cybersecurity is now framed not only as a technical requirement, but also as a factor in business continuity and investment planning.
