Anaptyss launches IGNITE to spur company-wide innovation
Thu, 6th Aug 2026 (Today)
Anaptyss has launched IGNITE, an employee innovation and intellectual property incubation programme intended to make innovation a company-wide process.
The programme provides a structured route for staff to move ideas from early concepts to customer solutions and, in some cases, patentable intellectual property. Employees will be able to work on business challenges, collaborate with customers and develop proposals with support from leadership and internal sponsors.
IGNITE is built around three tracks: IdeaLab, Co-Create and Patent Path. Together, they cover activities ranging from process improvements and customer-led ideas to technology development with commercial potential.
The programme includes transparent evaluation, leadership mentorship, executive sponsorship, milestone-based rewards, and funding for prototype development and patent filing. These elements are intended to help ideas progress beyond internal suggestion schemes and into implementation.
The launch comes as many companies review how they generate new products and services amid faster development cycles linked to artificial intelligence. Rather than relying mainly on research and development teams, some businesses are widening participation in innovation to employees who work directly with customers and day-to-day operations.
Anaptyss, which describes itself as an AI-first managed services and business transformation company, said IGNITE is intended to formalise that approach. It argues that employees closest to operational problems and customer needs are often well placed to identify practical opportunities for new solutions.
In comments accompanying the launch, the company outlined the strategic rationale for the programme.
"As AI fundamentally reshapes industries, innovation can no longer remain the responsibility of dedicated R&D teams; it must become an enterprise-wide capability. The people closest to our customers and business operations often have the deepest understanding of the challenges that matter most. IGNITE is designed to unlock that potential by giving every employee the opportunity to build meaningful solutions, create intellectual property and contribute to the future of our business. This is a strategic investment in our people, our innovation pipeline and our long-term competitiveness," said Anuj Khurana, Co-founder & CEO, Anaptyss.
Programme scope
Employees will be encouraged to address business issues across artificial intelligence, automation and managed services. Areas highlighted include operational efficiency, customer experience, service delivery, business process optimisation and technology solutions intended to meet customer needs.
For participants, the programme also brings internal recognition and career incentives. Staff involved in IGNITE will be eligible for leadership recognition, innovation certifications, performance credits and direct engagement with customers on business initiatives.
Inventors behind patented work will receive formal recognition, while patent filing and intellectual property protection costs will be covered by the business. That approach is intended to reduce one of the common barriers that can prevent internal ideas from becoming protected commercial assets.
Broader push
IGNITE also reflects a wider effort to build an intellectual property pipeline alongside the company's services business. Anaptyss said the programme could help identify ideas that later develop into platforms, products or more distinct service lines.
That matters in a market where managed services providers are under pressure to show how artificial intelligence changes both delivery models and the way they generate new revenue. Structured internal innovation schemes can serve as both a tool for staff retention and a mechanism for testing solutions with customers before wider deployment.
Anaptyss said the programme is intended to deepen collaboration with customers while expanding its intellectual property portfolio. It also wants to embed innovation into everyday work rather than treat it as a stand-alone staff initiative.
Employees can take part through the three tracks as ideas develop from internal improvements to customer-focused projects and, where relevant, to patent applications. Each stage will be supported by governance and funding designed to move proposals from concept to implementation.
