BlueRose launches LifeTree for private family archives

BlueRose Technologies has launched LifeTree, a digital platform for preserving family histories and records. The Bangalore-based company describes it as a private service for families spread across different countries.
LifeTree is designed to help users build family trees, record oral histories, and store photographs, recipes, and other personal material in one place. BlueRose presents it as an alternative to mainstream social media platforms, offering a closed environment for family-only sharing.
The launch comes as technology companies explore new uses for personal archiving tools beyond photo storage and social networking. BlueRose is positioning the platform around genealogy, family memory, and cultural continuity for households that have become more geographically dispersed.
The platform allows families to map lineage through interactive family trees and document migration journeys and stories from older generations. It also stores family traditions and milestone memories in their historical context, according to BlueRose.
Privacy focus
Privacy is a central part of the offering. BlueRose says LifeTree carries no advertising, does not sell data, and does not rely on algorithmic feeds, giving families control over personal records and information.
That pitch reflects broader concerns about how social media platforms handle intimate personal content. By separating family archives from public-facing networks, BlueRose is seeking to tap demand for more controlled digital spaces.
The company linked the launch to changes in family life, including migration and the shift from joint families to smaller households. It said those trends have weakened traditional ways of passing on stories, values, and identity between generations.
LifeTree was developed by Co-Founders Vineet Jain and Tulasidasappa, who said they identified a gap between being digitally connected to wider networks and staying connected to family history. That gap shaped the design of the platform as a long-term repository for family records.
Jain outlined the thinking behind the launch in remarks issued by the company.
"Over the years, we realized that while technology has helped us stay connected with the world, it has not necessarily helped us stay connected with our own families," said Vineet Jain, Co-Founder and CEO of BlueRose Technologies.
He added: "Many of the stories, traditions, and experiences that define who we are are slowly disappearing. LifeTree was created as a conscious effort to help families preserve those memories and create a legacy that future generations can cherish."
Tulasidasappa also described the personal motivation behind the platform.
"It has been my personal passion to ensure that my children have documented evidence of who their ancestors are. LifeTree was created to help families document their past, celebrate their present, and preserve their future in a world where families are more digitally connected than ever before," said Tulasidasappa, Co-Founder and COO of BlueRose Technologies.
Company profile
BlueRose says it operates across 25 countries, including the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, through its wider IT consulting, solutions, and managed services business. The company describes itself as focused on digital platforms and privacy-led design.
LifeTree extends that work into consumer-facing personal archiving, an area that sits between family networking, digital storage, and genealogy services. BlueRose says the service is designed as a permanent repository for family history, culture, and values, with control remaining in the hands of each family.
The launch marks BlueRose's attempt to build a business around private digital heritage rather than public social engagement, with features centred on lineage records, oral memory, and family archives.
