Consistent Infosystems has launched the Sigma Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard for gamers, esports players and power users in India.

The keyboard uses Haimu Clicky Blue mechanical switches, which the company rates for more than 50 million keystrokes. It also offers full N-key rollover and a 1000Hz polling rate, aimed at users who want every key press to register during fast input sequences.

It features rainbow LED backlighting with 12 lighting modes. Its full-size 104-key layout is designed to cover gaming, office work and general computing in a single device.

The keyboard comes with a detachable Type-C braided cable and supports Windows, macOS and Linux. It will be sold through Consistent's channel partner network across India and through the company's online store.

The launch expands Consistent's gaming accessories range as hardware brands compete for demand from India's growing base of PC gamers and users seeking mechanical keyboards for both work and play. Mechanical keyboards have moved beyond niche enthusiast markets in recent years, driven by demand for tactile switches, custom lighting and multi-platform support.

Product details

The Sigma combines a standard full-size format with features typically marketed to gaming buyers. Full N-key rollover allows multiple simultaneous key presses to be recognised at once, while a 1000Hz polling rate means the keyboard reports input to the connected computer 1,000 times a second.

Clicky blue switches are generally associated with audible feedback and tactile response, making them popular with some gamers and typists, though often less suited to shared workspaces because of their noise. By choosing this switch type, Consistent is positioning the Sigma in a segment that favours a more pronounced key feel over quieter operation.

The detachable cable may also appeal to users who carry peripherals between home, office and gaming venues. A braided Type-C cable is easier to replace than a fixed lead if damaged, which may extend the keyboard's usable life.

Market reach

Consistent operates across several hardware categories in India, including IT hardware, networking products, surveillance equipment, print consumables, electronics and gaming products. It says it has expanded across major states and now operates more than 25 branches and more than 93 service centres.

The company also says it works with more than 3,795 channel partners across India, exports to more than 17 countries and has more than 400 direct employees. Its portfolio includes more than 693 products, and it says it has served more than 5.5 crore customers.

That distribution footprint matters in India's peripherals market, where products are sold not only through national eCommerce platforms but also through regional resellers and local computer retailers. Access to a broad partner network can help brands push new devices into smaller cities and price-sensitive markets where in-person buying remains common.

Company comment

Yogesh Agrawal, CMD and Co-Founder of Consistent Infosystems, said: "Gaming peripherals play a crucial role in delivering a competitive and immersive gaming experience. With the launch of the Sigma Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, we aim to provide gamers and professionals with a feature-rich solution that combines performance, durability, and visual appeal. Its mechanical switches, high-speed responsiveness, and ergonomic design make it an ideal choice for users seeking reliability and precision."

Founded in New Delhi in 2011, Consistent positions itself as an Indian hardware and electronics brand serving both consumer and business markets. According to company information, it has also received industry awards in categories including motherboards, IP cameras, gaming and solar camera products.

The Sigma launch reflects how accessory makers are broadening their keyboard line-ups with products that combine mechanical switches, lighting effects and support for multiple operating systems. The keyboard will be distributed through Consistent's sales channels across India.
