Msg1 lets creators earn from direct chats in 195 languages

Sat, 22nd Nov 2025

Msg1, a messaging platform built on Babeltext's multilingual infrastructure, is providing creators, influencers, and subject-matter experts with a new model for direct, paid engagement with their audiences, enabling communication across 195 languages. The service enables creators to set their own price per message and engage fans worldwide through real-time translation across a wide range of messaging apps.

Direct monetisation

Msg1 enables creators to monetise individual one-to-one conversations with their audiences, bypassing traditional dependence on sponsorships, advertising, or content paywalls. Users can set prices between USD $0.50 and USD $50 per message, while followers are offered the flexibility to buy bundles of messages without committing to a recurring subscription. This approach allows creators to manage the value of their time and gives fans access on demand.

Creators retain 70% of the revenue generated from these paid messages, with the platform operating on a transparent model that eliminates the complexity of ad-based or algorithm-driven income streams.

Multilingual communication

One of Msg1's core features is its automatic real-time translation, powered by Babeltext, which allows both creators and fans to communicate in their native languages. The platform supports major communication channels including SMS, Web Chat, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Facebook Messenger, and WeChat. Fans and creators exchange messages in their preferred languages, with translation accuracy cited at 98%; there is also provision for human intervention when nuanced communication is required.

David Hayes, Chief Executive and Founder of Babeltext, said:

"For the first time, creators can charge for their time while speaking to fans in any language, anywhere."

Creator tools

The Babeltext operator portal provides creators with analytics tools, so they can monitor message volumes, audience languages, sentiment, and communication trends. These insights allow them to adjust pricing strategies, refine outreach, and understand where their audiences are most active.

"Data is the creator's new competitive advantage. When creators understand which regions are engaging, or what topics spark conversations, they can refine their pricing, their strategy, and their global footprint," said Hayes.

Audience engagement

The platform addresses a growing demand for more direct and personalised interaction between creators and their audiences-meeting what some see as a gap left by existing social media channels. Hayes said: "Creators are looking for meaningful interaction, not another algorithm to battle. Msg1 gives them a way to deepen relationships and earn fairly for the time they invest."

Digital inclusion

By removing language barriers, Msg1 positions itself as a tool for digital inclusion, aiming to make communication with global fans accessible and mutually understandable. Hayes said: "With real-time translation across 195 languages, a creator in London can seamlessly converse with a fan in Tokyo, São Paulo, or Cairo. It's a completely new model of accessibility."

He added: "The future of the creator economy is conversational, not broadcast. People don't just want content, they want connection. Msg1 lets that connection happen without borders."

Responsible operations

Msg1 emphasises its focus on responsible interactions. Hayes said: "Creators must set clear expectations and respond thoughtfully. Our platform gives them the tools, but their authenticity is what drives subscriber trust."
