Vivek Agrawal launches Hindi album in virtual Oasis

Thu, 9th Apr 2026

Vivek Agrawal has launched his debut Hindi album through a virtual platform called The Oasis, linking the music project to a digital environment he developed himself.

The album, LoveTALK, is presented in an online world where listeners move through an interactive setting rather than playing tracks in a conventional streaming format. The platform is designed to let users discover songs as they explore the space and interact with other listeners.

Agrawal, a Stanford-trained technologist and musician, has placed that background at the centre of the release. The Oasis combines music with digital design features including augmented reality, 3D art and interactive storytelling.

The release of LoveTALK comes as artists and music companies continue to test new ways to present albums online, beyond standard audio and video services. Here, the music is tied to a virtual environment intended to create a sense of shared presence among listeners while also serving as the album's main venue.

The record is positioned as a Hindi-language collection of romantic and reflective songs. Its sound draws on Bollywood influences alongside contemporary R&B, aimed at listeners used to discovering music through digital platforms.

Virtual Setting

The Oasis is framed as a music world rather than a single-purpose listening tool. Users are invited to navigate the environment, encounter songs within it and engage with visuals built around Agrawal's work.

The approach reflects a wider entertainment trend in which creators use game-like or immersive environments to deepen fan engagement. Instead of separating music, visuals, and audience interaction across different services, the project brings them together in a single destination.

Agrawal said the idea was shaped by what some listeners still seek from music despite the convenience of mainstream streaming services.

"While today's streaming platforms bring all the music we love to our fingertips, music lovers still long to discover a hidden gem of an artist and surprise themselves when they connect with a like-minded music fan. The Oasis is a virtual world that enables musical serendipity and digital co-presence, allowing listeners to discover new music and connect with fans. It has been a project close to my heart for some time, and I'm excited to use it to showcase my debut Hindi album and reach fans around the world," Agrawal said.

Art And Tech

The project also highlights a career path that moves between technology entrepreneurship and music. That combination has become more visible across the creative industries as artists seek direct relationships with audiences and greater control over how their work is experienced online.

For Agrawal, the album release appears to be as much about the format as the songs themselves. By using a self-developed virtual environment, he is making the listening experience part of the artistic package rather than a separate delivery channel.

The platform includes immersive visual journeys and digital performances, according to the details released. The aim is to make online music consumption more active, with audiences exploring material rather than simply selecting and playing tracks.

That model remains an emerging one in the music industry, where streaming still dominates distribution and discovery. Even so, artists across markets have increasingly explored virtual concerts, fan communities and interactive online spaces in search of new ways to hold attention and stand out in a crowded field.

Agrawal's launch adds a Hindi album to that experimentation, placing Bollywood-inspired songwriting inside a digitally built environment. The release strategy seeks to unite music fandom, visual storytelling and online social interaction in a single experience.
