Chrono has opened requests for access to the private beta of its temporal CRM, which is intended to link CRM, marketing and business workflows in one system.

Access is by invitation only, and submitting a request does not create an account or guarantee a place in the beta. Reliability, workflow acceptance and release readiness are still in development, and Chrono has not announced a general-availability date.

Longer record

The product is built around what Chrono calls a temporal approach to customer records. Rather than showing only the current state of a relationship, it is designed to track the events, information and decisions that led there.

It also separates when something happened from when a team learned about it. Chrono says that distinction is meant to help users understand earlier decisions in their original context and connect that context to current work.

In practice, the system is intended to place contacts and companies alongside marketing, sales, content, service and operations workflows. A conversation, for example, can feed into a campaign review, an opportunity or a follow-up task without another team having to reconstruct the background.

Private beta

The current beta includes CRM records, campaign and opportunity work, content drafts, service issues and internal tasks. Supported workflows also include historical views and model-shaped scenario comparisons.

An optional feature called the Chrono Engine adds a desktop companion for supported AI connections and workflows. Chrono says the web product remains central to the service and that understanding the customer record does not depend on a specific AI provider.

According to the company, the AI-linked component is designed to keep a conversation beside the business workspace and suggest next steps for human review. The beta will also test how well these functions fit into daily work and where context is lost during handoffs.

Founder background

Chrono traces the product to Founder Sam's two decades of work with CRM systems, along with an interest in time, business inflection points and AI. The idea, the company says, emerged from a practical question: what changed in a customer relationship, and what might happen next?

The business argues that a conventional CRM record shows where a relationship stands, while a temporal view can also show the path that led there. In its view, that approach should help users make a practical next decision based on more than the latest update.

Chrono says the beta is also intended to test onboarding and identify which temporal views make decisions easier to explain. It adds that product captures on its website show the interface with example data, rather than conceptual imagery.

Pricing model

The planned launch model includes Temporal CRM and scenario planning free for up to 20 users. After that, each additional user would cost $3 per month across the company workspace, according to Chrono.

Optional packages for marketing, sales, content, service and operations are also planned, allowing teams to select specific areas of work. Paid subscriptions are not yet open, and final capacity limits and service terms will be published before subscriptions become available.

Businesses can submit a beta access request form, which records the submitted email, selected interest and consent so the team can follow up. Chrono describes signup as the start of an access conversation rather than automatic entry to the service.

"Workflow acceptance, reliability and broader release readiness remain active work," said Sam, Founder, Chrono.
